The artwork
It feels like a scene from a forgotten sci-fi magazine cover, with teal planetary color, sharp white peaks, and a strange sense of motion pulling the eye upward. This surreal space collage canvas print mixes retro photomontage style with cosmic imagery in a way that reads instantly in the room, especially as living room wall decor or bold home office wall art. The deep rust and black lower half grounds the piece, while the oversized moon and tiny human figures give it that offbeat mid-century tension collectors tend to look for. It has enough detail to keep revealing itself without overwhelming the wall.
This piece suits buyers drawn to retro sci fi wall art, eclectic interiors, and gifts that feel a little less expected than standard abstract decor. It also works well for anyone styling a creative workspace, apartment, or reading corner with surreal vintage collage art. Ready to hang and easy to place.
There’s something quietly strange about this surreal space collage canvas print. Vintage-style figures, icy white peaks, and oversized planetary forms come together in a retro sci-fi composition that feels cinematic, eccentric, and easy to remember. The teal moon, rust-red foreground, and black crater details give it a strong graphic presence, making it a natural fit for an eclectic living room, creative office, or mid-century inspired interior.
Each canvas print is hand-crafted with care and finished to give the artwork a clean gallery presence on the wall. This gallery-wrapped canvas is stretched over a polished 1.5"(4cm) pinewood framework and delivered ready to hang with hardware on the back.

Artwork DNA
OpenHideA retro sci-fi collage shows figures standing on pale stepped structures beneath a large teal planet, above maroon crater-like shapes and stars.
The artwork depicts a surreal, collage-like space scene dominated by a large teal planet filling the upper section. In front of it, small human figures in light, uniform-like outfits stand on pale, stepped blocks that form a jagged staircase rising toward the centre. A purple, pod-like or creature-shaped form with dark circular markings sits over the planet area, partially overlapping the scene. The lower half transitions to a deep maroon, crater-speckled terrain with scattered dark dots, while small black circles punctuate the composition. Overall contrast is strong, with sharp shapes, graphic cut-out edges, and a retro, photomontage feel.
